We want to give you the opportunity to find out more about the speakers who will be taking to the stage at The Science Behind Ecommerce on 14th June. Ranging from Heads of Global, Content Analysts, Tech partners and Multi-million pound retailers, find out more about those you’ll be hearing from and who you can ask questions to on the day. Michael Jaconi, CEO and Co-Founder of Button Michael Jaconi is the Co-Founder and CEO of Button, the leading platform powering contextual commerce among today’s leading brands. Jaconi formerly served as the CEO of Rakuten Loyalty and Executive Officer of parent company Rakuten. Michael helped build Rakuten Loyalty from a fledgling state to a multi-million dollar business in less than two years and led Rakuten’s $100M investment in Pinterest, helping secure Rakuten’s place as one of the most innovative and aggressive global internet companies. Prior to his tenure at Rakuten Loyalty, Jaconi co-founded two public affairs companies in Washington, D.C. and served in a variety of capacities within various political campaigns.   Mike Van Geldorp, CEO Monotote Mike has been a successful entrepreneur his whole life building many successful businesses from scratch in new and emerging markets. The common thread that runs through every enterprise since he opened his first business is the integration of technology as a central driving force to make the business a leader in its market. In 2015, Mike founded Monotote, an e-commerce platform that enables visitors of websites, blogs and online magazines to purchase products directly from photos, videos and online advertisements.   Emma Moorman, Senior Product Manager at Hitwise An experienced agile Product Owner/Manager with over 8 years’ global experience, with a strong background in digital marketing management; Emma is responsible for bringing Hitwise’s AudienceView data insights platform to market in the UK.     Simon Hofmeister, Senior Global Affiliate & Partnerships Manager at ASOS.com Simon Hofmeister started out in the affiliate industry in 2009, working for over 5 years at Affiliate Window the latter half of which was spent running 2 of the network’s largest telecoms clients, O2 and Sky. He then moved to ASOS where he has been for 3 years and heads up the affiliate channel. He is no stranger to international affiliate activity, currently overseeing the management of ASOS’ 22 affiliate programs worldwide with the help of his team based out of the ASOS headquarters in North London.   Richie Jones, eCommerce Specialist  Richie is an award winning data driven Omni Channel Marketing, Brand, Digital and eCommerce specialist with fifteen years’ experience in developing, implementing and managing highly effective multichannel brand strategies for a range of UK and Global brands. He’s a rare ‘digitally bred’ board level operator with both agency (founded and sold) and board level client side experience in several sector types including Retail, Travel, Advertising, Publishing and Not for Profit.   Rob Davinson, Content Analyst at Awin Rob has worked at Awin for almost 4 years and in that time has worked as the networks’ Travel Specialist supporting travel publishers and as a team leader within the Publisher Services department, helping new affiliates to collaborate with a wide variety of Awin’s advertisers. Rob has recently joined the network’s Strategy team as their Content Analyst, producing content via whitepapers, reports and articles based on the data and insights that the network sees through its tracked activity.   David James, Head of Global Account Management at Awin David began his career at Awin working in the UK’s technical services team. After the merger between Affiliate Window and zanox in 2010, David became one of the founding members of the Global Account Management team. His department is responsible for international advertisers, working across the Awin global network. David’s role is to shape policy around how Awin delivers strategy, management and guidance to these key multinational partners.   Rich Parsons, Global Client Services Manager at Awin Having started off client side, Rich joined the Awin Global team over five years ago. Rising through the company first as a Key Account Manager before moving into Team Leader and Account Director roles, he has directly managed some of the leading global brands including the Arcadia Group, Ticketmaster and TripAdvisor. Rich is currently Global Client Services Manager at Awin advising leading international advertisers on how to deliver coordinated multi-market strategies.   Jessica Thomas, Senior Team Leader at Awin Jessica Thomas started at Awin in 2012 in the companies SME department, working across a variety of different sectors. She later joined the Key Accounts department as an account manager for a large travel brand. Jessica is now a Senior Team Leader in the Key Accounts department overseeing all of the Arcadia Brands.   The full agenda is now live, see it here.
